Louis' self-titled project/band is a neo-folk outfit based in Sydney, featuring all original songs written by Louis. Drawing influence from Mount Eerie, Scott Walker, Jordaan Mason, Grouper and Ellen Arkbro, Louis constructs lush indie-folk vignettes with extravagant forms, melodies and sounds. Backed by 7-piece band of strings and winds, Louis performs with the intimacy of a singer songwriter, and the expansiveness of his own ensemble arrangements.
